The 69th International Congress of Meat Science and Technology (ICoMST) will be held in Padova (Italy) from the 20th to 25th August 2023. The event, sponsored among others by the Istituto Zooprofilattico Sperimentale delle Venezie (IZSVe), returns to Italy after more than 20 years: the last edition in the peninsula was in fact held in Rome in 2002.
The scope of ICoMST is to enhance the co-operation and scientific information between academic and industry-based researchers in the field of meat science and technology. The Congress meetings will focus on presenting the latest findings in specific scientific disciplines, providing critical reviews of the work done in the various fields, as well as up-dating the latest knowledge on current issues most relevant to meat as food.
