Massimo Romano was appointed Administrative Director of the Istituto Zooprofilattico Sperimentale delle Venezie (IZSVe) in April 2021.
He has been the Administrative Director of Azienda Zero (local health authority of the Veneto Region) since September 2020. He has been director of the Department of Economic and Financial Management at the Azienda Sanitaria Universitaria Friuli Centrale (local health authority of the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region) since 2019.
He has been Administrative Director and Director General of the Authority for the centralized management of shared services of the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region. He has held executive positions at the Italian Medicines Agency (AIFA) and other health authorities of the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region.
